When great stories fall through the cracks at social news sites, we catch them. Lost Shovels is the brainchild of Reg Saddler, a top submitter on the social news site Digg.com (known as Zaibatsu). Along with fellow social news submitters Andrew Sorcini and Muhammad Saleem, they created this site to feature some of the social news submissions that never got promoted to the front/top of social news sites, yet were worthy of taking a second look.
